If there was a Monterey County Music Hall of Fame, Mike Beck would be on the short list for induction. Starting out in the '70s with the local bluegrass outfit the Coast Ridge Boys, he's led great bar bands (Cowboy Satellites) and done a handful of solo cowboy music albums that have won him accolades in publications like Western Horseman Magazine. Currently residing in Montana, Beck returns with his superb band the Bohemian Saints, which features ripping guitarist Tom Ayres, for two nights of shows at Jose's. [ST]
