It’s fitting that Disney is distributing animation legend Hayao Miyazaki’s hand-drawn children’s fable, Ponyo; it’s based on the Hans Christian Andersen fairy tale The Little Mermaid, and Miyazaki’s abundant imagination has been compared to Walt Disney’s. The voices in this lyrical kid flick are voiced by Cate Blanchett, Matt Damon, Tina Fey, Liam Neeson, Lily Tomlin, Betty White, Frankie Jonas and others. [WR]
