PacRep's Shakes-speare Festival picks up where Santa Cruz Shakespeare exits, extending the summer of clever wordplay and powerful intelligence from the great bard. Hamlet is one of PacRep's two plays they perform in repertory—the other is As You Like it at Outdoor Forest Theater—and it is a masterpiece that rewards revisiting time after time, especially with Equity actors Nicholas Pelczar (Hamlet) and Chris Ayles (Polonius) and guest actors Jeffrey Heyer (Guildenstern) and Julie Hughett (Gertrude) breathing life into the characters, under the sure direction of Kenneth Kelleher.
