The Monterey Symphony Chorus teams up with the San Jose Symphonic Choir in a 100-plus strong song performance of Beatitude Mass, composed by Henry Mallicone and William Luce, accompanied by Chamber Ensemble, and directed by Leroy Kromm. The 2006 work revolves around themes of humanity and homelessness, and part of the text is taken from interviews with homeless people. Net proceeds benefit Shelter Outreach Plus. [WR]
