For local jade collectors and enthusiasts,the Big Sur Jade Festival is the place to be. For the 18th year running, artists and vendors from as far as New Zealand come together to share a common love for the local treasure, abundant on the shoreline of Big Sur. Pick up lunch from the food vendors and enjoy the live music as artist Deborah Wilson demonstrates jade carving and renowned Jade expert and author Fred Ward hosts a lecture at one of the largest lapidary shows of its kind.
