Pacific Grove and Carmel have one. Monterey's self-guided tour of significant houses spans five architecturally varied abodes. A rare pueblo style house sits in the Mesa neighborhood, a Spanish-Eclectic style number built in 1928 sports a pair of tall oak trees, and Casa Serrano, Chadney House and J.C. Anthony House round out the tour. Tickets can be purchased at Monterey Public Library, and, in turn, benefit the library.
