Since forming in 2004, the Baltimore dream pop duo Beach House, have received serious acclaim; Pitchfork Media rated their debut album the 16th best album of the year. And their follow up album, Devotion, released last year, received just as much kudos. Victoria Legrand’s crisp, no-nonsense voice channels Nico and her wistful chops on the organ could be mistaken at times for lullabies.
