Renowned humorist, writer and comedian, David Sedaris, has a unique outlook: “Maybe I'll learn a trade. I've considered taxidermy. I always thought it was a shame you couldn't do that on people.” Sedaris first received international recognition for his essay, “SantaLand Diaries,” which was broadcast in 1992 on National Public Radio. The essay recounts one of Sedaris’ most bizarre jobs: working as one of Santa’s elves at Macy’s. Since his breakthrough, Sedaris has had several New York Times bestsellers including Me Talk Pretty One Day. [AJ]
