Halloween at the Museum

The Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History knows there is more to Halloween than zombies and candy. This Science Saturday is dedicated to some spooky Halloween staples—bats and spiders. Come in costume, trick-or-treat, and check out real specimens or hunt spiders. Weave spider webs, make garden spider web frames and build bat roosting houses to mount at home at the free event.
11am-3pm. Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History, 165 Forest Ave., Pacific Grove. Free. 648-5716. http://www.pgmuseum.org.
