At one time Deleye was an actress on Diff'rent Strokes, Amen and Mr. Belevedere. She's since switched gears, singing jazz and R&B with Grammy-winning composer Michael Ruff and Howard Hewitt, and "sharing" the stage with Al Jarreau, Sheryl Crow, Chaka Khan and others. That part of her career propelled her through Scandanavia and Japan, but tonight she and her band—guitarist Jesse DeCarlo, keyboardist Don Pendergrass, bassist Nat Shirman, drummer Dave Roda—land on Sly's jam-packed stage.
