Dogs are encouraged to take their owners out for a drink on the recently remodeled outdoor patio of the Fireplace Lounge in a canine-friendly mixer, during which the Hyatt will donate 15 percent of proceeds from beverage sales to the SPCA for Monterey County. Paws for a Cause occurs every Thursday until Sept. 24.
