Al Rose is a fave out in his native Chicago, for his acclaimed songwriting and narrative command in the realm of Americana music. He's so mastered his music that during live shows he changes them as he goes along. Varoom is an improv trio that does long-form shows. They will debut an improv performance piece called Henry Miller Unscripted. It will be scored by Rose, who's hosted "Henry Memorial Concerts" since '91, on the spot, in a free-flowing interplay. [WR]
