Reports indicate that Americans are working harder for less pay in this depressing economy. But buck up and get early respite from the work week at the monthly Art After Hours at MMA-Pacific, now showing two distinct exhibits, both of which can transport weary minds: the expansive Made in Monterey and the specific and contemporary MontereyNOW: Kevin Miller. Joullian Vineyards--the official Art After Hours wine sponsor--is pouring reds and whites to go with the full palette of other colors in the premier museum. A scavenger hunt and Discovery Spots occupies the kids in the meantime. [WR]
