With drastic budget cuts--Draconian, even--the Marina Library's Fall Book Sale couldn't come at a better time. Last year one of the great finds among a neatly organized collection of non-fiction, fiction, paperbacks, text books, magazines and music, were two volumes of CDs, still packaged, containing songs inspired by literature, with tracks by Suzanne Vega, Tom Waits, Nick Cave, Woody Guthrie and more. A buck a piece. Beat that.
