The folks over at Planet Gemini slap a comedy show and music performance together like a pbj sandwhich and the results can be sweet, nutty deliciousness. The comedy component comes courtesy of Loni Love, a big—and big-hearted—comedian who raps about relationships to women like a sista from another mother. After she warms up the crowd with laughter, the musicians of the Dani Page Band lay down R&B, rock and soul—sometimes in the same song—fronted by the strong, sonorous voice of Dani Page. [WR]
