The blues/folk duo have an impressive sound, with vocalist Carol Ann Ives sounding like a cross between Aimee Mann and Jenny Lewis, and guitarist and bassist Steve Gurr spanning Fleetwood Mac and acoustic Led Zeppelin sounds. The Valley Village group's sound, sometimes forceful and jubilant in songs like "High Sierra", or ethereal and haunting, as in "I'll Follow the Sun", is always entertaining, as is the duo themselves.
