This is an event equestrians mark on their calendars, anxiously awaiting the prestigious competition and chance to show off their thoroughbred animals at one of the most acclaimed horseshows in the United States. The show is exclusively for Friesian and American Saddlebred horses. Friesians are known for their rich black coat, long, thick mains, and well-built, compact muscle structure. Known as the “peacock of the horse show world,” American Saddlebreds are flashy, high-stepping horses idle for competition. These elegant animals are on display for horse aficionados and amateurs alike free of charge. [MF]
