PG's Lighthouse Ave. is the place to be Friday night. Anchored by the opening reception for new exhibits at Pacific Grove Art Center (PGAC), a host of surrounding galleries stay open late, serve appetizers and wine, and show of their own art collections. PGAC has gathered an interesting blend of artwork for this show. Ray Parsons uses photographs to create poetic moments. Gabriele Hahn brings the African Omo River tribe to PG using paint. Kathy Sharpe uses bright oils to bring apple trees to life. Jennifer Brook-Kothlow and Rima West use mixed media to challenge our imaginations. Stroll this smorgasbord, take in the goodies.
