If the go-go dancers don't get you, the Money will. This iteration of the Central Coast HIV/AIDS Services' (formerly John XXIII AIDS Ministry and Monterey County AIDS Project) annual fundraiser brings both the dancers and The Money Band to bear on a discoteque night. The '70s night gets launched with Chateau Sinnet champagne, transformed by Illusions of Grandeur props, bouyed by great food like roasted chicken and filet mignon and even spun by DJ Tammie Ross. (Yes, there will be "The Hustle" and "Bus Stop" disco dance lessons.) Bonus brilliance: a great cause, prize drawings, a silent auction, wine with dinner and a cash bar. Um, groovy. [MCA]
