Children and adults are invited to discover the secret life of bees. Sample different kinds of honey, roll beeswax candles, discover how wasps make their nests, and examine stingers under microscopes. Dale Hillard from Hillard Hives will be showing bee-keeping gear and discussing a honey bee's life cycle. A sweet event.
11am-3pm . Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History, 165 Forest Ave., Pacific Grove. Free; Donations Appreciated. 648-5716; 648-5718. http://www.pgmuseum.org.
