Monterey Surfrider conducts regular beach cleanups along the Peninsula from Andrew Molera to Moss Landing, and ask for the public to volunteer on the various days. The schedule: March 28 at Del Monte Beach at Wharf 2, April 25 at Asilomar Beach, May 23 at Carmel Ocean Beach, July 5 at Del Monte downtown (to round up spent fireworks, if the county allows them), July 25 at Andrew Molera, Aug. 22 at San Carlos, Sept. 26 at Marina State Beach (Reservation Road), Oct. 24 at Moss Landing (Jetty Road) and Nov. 28 at Carmel Beach (off the aptly named Ocean).
