“Hot Pink Flamingos” takes visitors on an illuminating journey through seven galleries highlighting the impact global climate change has on ocean animals living in fragile environments. Visitors will explore coastal wetlands where lanky Chilean flamingos and a cacophony of exotic birds nest. Candy-colored fishes, sprightly sea turtles, bulbous jellies, and labyrinthine corals, along with rescued Magellanic penguins whose story epitomizes the threat climate change poses to the world’s creatures, are all on display for the intrigued and concerned. This is an exhibit with a message: our oceans are in danger, and its animals need our help. [MF]
