Zoe Boekbinder says that "Paralyzing," which is the best song on her new CD Artichoke Perfume, was inspired by Shenandoah Davis. Tonight, Boekbinder, who pulled out a cover of Beyonce's "Single Ladies (Put a Ring on It)" on her last visit here, is excited to introduce Davis to her former hometown. Davis, who plays in the Seattle orchestral pop band Grand Hallway, does always interesting piano-based pop songs on her own. In addition to sets by Boekbinder and Davis, Florida's Kaylee Cole will perform. [ST]
