The museum hosts and co-sponsors the launch party for the new children's book by California illustrator Erin Hunter. A Day on the Mountain takes the reader up a mountain while observing the changing habitats, from forest-covered bottom, to snow-covered peak. It's a Sylvan Dell learning book packed with extra curricular activies.
