The cello is the string instrument with the widest range—and Ben Sollee wants to push that even further. With the cello as base instrument, Sollee adds lilting vocals, banjo, percussion, and more to make a funky, politically conscious groove. He performs at the Steinbeck Center as part of a bicycle-only tour.
