The Western States Motel has come a long way from making soundtracks to films and documentaries. Now its set to release its third album, Freeway Freeway Riverbed. Carl Jordan took from his experience to create the sound of pop, guitar, and some electronica mixed in. Jordan is stopping by his hometown of Monterey for this tour with Jesse Carmichael on the drums, Mike Schanzlin playing bass, Jesse Taylor on the guitar and Paul Zawacki is the keyboardist. Come to listen to the band that SPIN magazine described as, "...low-key, unexpected, and sweet...mixing shimmery summer sounds with unlikely introspection."
