New Exhibits at Pacific Grove Art Center

This week the Art Center bursts open with three new exhibits and its Patron's Show Annual Fundraiser. Benefit tickets equal the number of pieces donated, and ticket holders are drawn randomly; first drawn gets first pick. Also, Julie Terflinger exhibits her "At First Glance," studies of human facial expressions in various media. Katherine Moore shows the paint-and-metal leaf creations of her "Illuminations" collection. And a quartet of Santa Cruz photographers present "Different Directions," which reveals their rich collaboration as much as it explores our local landscapes and nature. With the PG Artwalk starting at 6pm, the evening is ripe to be enjoyed. Through Dec. 16. [JCC]
