At this point, musician Rex Wheeler has become the unofficial house band for the wharfside British-style pub. But then again, the local guitarist has become a fairly recognizable face around town after 30 years playing the Monterey Bay circuit. Wheeler plays covers spanning several genres including a killer version of Etta James' "At Last." Who knows what tricks he'll have up his sleeve on Christmas Eve. [AJ]
