February Art Shows at Carmel Art Association

The Gallery is showcasing the works of talented artists. "Continuum" by sculptor and print maker, Eleen Auvil, "Autumm Series" by painter Barbara Johson and Michael Tsouris imagery paintings will all be on display for entire month. The gallery is also hosting a opening reception for artist Christine Crozier who is presenting her "Sleight of Hand: The Art of the Trompe-l'oeil Frame" that recalls her early years as a painter in San Francisco 30 years ago. The public is invited to participate in a month-long contest called "Cabinet of Curiosities" where participants identify curious items of interest from the CAA artists studio that are placed in a special cabinet. The prize is a piece of art from the CAA auction selection. [KP]
