This Boys & Girls Clubs of Monterey County booster, which has happened annually for 22 years, is half pro-am, half clinic and all heart. Davis Love III anchors the tourney, which pairs 38 PGA pros with local amateurs (and finds added importance now that MPCC is in the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am rotation), and steers the clinic for local kids. A few spots remain in the golf game—but get scrambling—and fans wanting to brush up on some vital basics can look on at the afternoon instructional. [MCA]
