Music sets the tone for this art exhibit that explores the worlds of Earth Tones by artists Emily DuBois, Rebecca Fogg, Yuri Ordjonikidze and Will Tait, Celebrate Color oil paintings by Claire C. Oppenhuizen, the new horizons of the otherwordly The Art of Sukhdev Dail: Retrospective Exhibition and the But A Dream paintings by Carmel’s own Zachary Kirshner. The music comes courtesy of The Something Cool Trio, whose soothing jazz and opera sounds were composed by pianist Bill Minor, accompanied by Heath Proskin on bass and Richard Mayer on flute; they’ll harmonize with the wine, appetizers, artists and art lovers that fill the spacious galleries with mirth. The show is on display through Feb. 18, 2010. [KP]
