The Aquarium gets you as close to sharks as many would like to get this weekend with shark and bat ray (cousins to sharks) feedings, stories from shark experts of face-to-face encounters, videos, kids crafts (4pm Sun), Chief of the Reef theatrical performance (Sun), and presentations and signings by comic artist and creator of Sherman's Lagoon. Kids can download an iron-on Shark Days t-shirt design; if they wear it at the aquarium they get a special prize. After this dive into a shark infested weekend, many should emerge with a better understanding of these threatened creatures.
