Last year the NAACP celebrated its 100th anniversary (as did the Naval Postgraduate School, coincidentally) with a lavish, warm banquet featuring Dick Gregory as keynote speaker. This 38th annual Life Membership banquet, honoring the NAACP Salinas branch co-founder Agnes Tebo with the President's Award and AT&T with the Spirit of Partnership Award, pulls in another hefty catch of a speaker: NAACP's youngest ever president and CEO, and former Pacific Grover, Benjamin Todd Jealous.
