Stephen Moorer directs PacRep's popular, lively, family-friendly musical that revisits Buddy Holly (played by Travis Poelle, who didn't play the seminal rock 'n roller in last year because he was touring the East Coast), Eddie Cochrane (Davit Felder, who also plays Bob Dylan), Dusty Springfield (Lydia Lyons), the Big Bopper (Scott Harrison), The Beatles (ensemble) and others. In costume and wigs, with a live band, they'll revive classic songs like "Yesterday," "Great Balls of Fire," "Peggy Sue," "Son of a Preacher Man" and more, for just five high-powered shows that reliably get people dancing in the aisles. On New Year's Eve, the party starts an hour later, but goes until past midnight, with wine, dessert and champagne along the way. [WR]
