The highly acclaimed Metropolitan Opera Live in HD returns to Century 13 Cinema with a tale of lost love and the high price of creative success. Director Bartlett Sher tells his version of the classic composed by Jacques Offenbach, featuring Joseph Calleja (Hoffman), Anna Netrebko (Antonia), Kate Lindsey (Nicklausse), Alan Held (four villains), and Kathleen Kim (Olympia). Dealing with a rivalry over the woman he loves, Hoffman tells of three failed relationships in his past, and ultimately finds comfort in his muse (disguised as his good friend Nicklausse).
