Two super-sized San Francisco acts are sure to pack Fernwood tonight. A seven piece with Monterey roots—and two sax players!—Forrest Day is a funk, rap and rock outfit that will be releasing their debut full length early this year. Also on the bill is the eclectic six piece Battlehooch, which on their track "The Special Place" features an Elvis-inspired singer whooping over breakneck ska leavened by unexpected bursts of pop.
