This past summer, the Salinas reggae powerhouse was given the opportunity to play for its first time at the annual Monterey Bay Reggaefest. Along with Bob Marley and Dennis Brown covers, Omani also puts reggafied spins on the Steve Miller Band’s “Fly Like An Eagle” and The Eagles’ “Hotel California.” But the quintet mainly focuses on original tunes heavily inspired by messages of peace, love and unity.
