Buy a new pair of comfortable shoes and start stretching in preparation of five full days of swing-dancing at the Hyatt Regency. Swingfest offers workshops on West Coast Swing with professional swingers to teach swanky steps and tricky techniques. Two dance contests urge participants to swing like they've never swung before; improvisation is encouraged. If the competition is too serious, open dance takes place every day for anyone itching to just cut a rug. The Hyatt offers special stay rates for attendees of the event. [GT]
