As part of the Lovejoy Concert Series, folksinger and songwriter Buddy Comfort presents "Songs from the Heart of the Spirit," a program of original compositions and traditional tunes on the themes of love, nature, peace, and connection with the Source. Peninsula violinist and violist Laurel Thomson adds her high notes to the varied tones of his guitar, piano, Native American drum, hurdy gurdy and zither as they turn out Celtic tunes, Irish and Scottish Ballads and songs from Comfort's recording "Brother Sun, Sister Moon." A complimentary reception follows the performance.
