Youth activists from Think Outside the Bomb are bringing an unusual juxtaposition of music, puppets and nuclear proliferation issues to Monterey this weekend as part of a national tour to advocate for a future free of nuclear weapons. The tour began in New York City in May and will culminate in New Mexico in August—and in the meantime, TOTB is spreading the word about the full picture of weapons production, possible impacts, and the political implications to people around the nation. On Sunday at 1pm, there will be a meet and greet over lunch with activists at the Peace Resource Center, followed by a 4pm presentation at the Alternative Cafe at 1230 Fremont Street, followed by music at 7pm from Bad Heart Bull and the puppet show, "Dr. Lab's Nuclear Adventure."
