Primarily for kids 4-12, through August, the three Salinas libraries assemble a panalopy of events. The first few commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Salinas Rodeo, including a flapjack demonstration/breakfast 10am and tortilla-making demo 1pm and 3pm July 10; a Living History/Snake Oil Show noon, 3pm and 6pm at all three libraries July 13; Rodeo Story Time 4pm July 14 and 15, and 11am July 17; Kite Day Water Designs 1pm and 3pm July 24 and 25; 11am, 1pm and 3pm Great Bubble Blow July 31; 11am, 1pm and 3pm Sea Creatures and Boats Origami with Mihoku Okuzawa Aug. 7; and Save the Whales on Wheels 11am, 1pm and 3pm Aug. 14.
