The longstanding theater reprises its perennial favorite revue, Broadway: A Musical, revisiting a plethora of hit songs from the best of the Great White Way, including Les Miserables, Guys & Dolls, Wicked, Chicago and Phantom. Leading a community-culled cast are Sean Boulware, who appeared locally in The Producers, but has toured nationally with Les Miserables; his wife Michelle (Evita, Anything Goes); Keith Wolhart (shipmate with Michelle on Anything Goes); and little sparkplug Tanner Gray (Treasure Island) and a support cast of enthusiastic adults and kids. The cast also sees the return of producer Angelo DiGirolamo's granddaughter, Erin Helm (until Aug. 8), who combines masterful voice control and lovely visage. Gena Welch Hagen, the Wharf Theater's director for more than 30 years, again takes the helm. [WR]
