For over 100 years the citizens of Pacific Grove have celebrated their history with this summer festival. The week's worth of activities leads up to this finale weekend's Pet Parade at Caledonia Park at 2pm and the Sock Hop at Chautauqua Hall at 6pm—both on Friday. 7pm Saturday, the Pageant and Variety show takes place at the Performing Arts Center with entertainment by the the likes of the Shinsho Mugn Daiko Drummers, Chinese Lion Dancers, Monterey Bay Belles with the Vocal Point Quartet, Greek Dancers and much more, concluding with the telling of the Legend of the Blue Willow in pantomime by the Royal Court, narrated by Roger Powers.
