Local Robert Danziger, the self-proclaimed "ghost of alternative energy past," has released a novel that dissects the energy debate using a tongue-in-cheek bipartisan approach that breathes life into what is normally a political hotbed. Danziger discusses his hilarious new animated nonfiction, A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Energy Independence, at the Steinbeck Center members-only reception beginning at 6pm. A free public reception follows at 6:30pm, as well as a talk and book signing 7pm. [MC]
