"There's a lot more to the climate change story than you might have heard," Aquarium chief Julie Packard wrote for the Huffington Post. "The story only covers what is happening on a small portion of our planet—the terrestrial environment. Few are talking about the effects of climate change on the other 72 percent—our oceans." And there's a lot more to the oceans that most realize, something the Aquarium celebrates today with special feedings and live musical performances, readings of Dr. Seuss’s beloved One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish and other kids' activities, a family craft room where kids can decorate their own reusable lunch bag and sustainable cooking demonstration, all with bilingual inclusivity. Splashy. [MCA]
