Spectators have their pick of good spots along the .7 mile loop as cyclists whoosh past the shops, cafes and old victorians of downtown P.G.. Participants vie for $5,350 in cash plus merchandise and medals. The kids, 10 and under, zip around in pursuit of medals, MY Museum passes and lots of fun. Ghost Tree Racing and VOS Racing Teams, the organizers of the Butterfly Criterium, add to the regular men's categories of last year by also making the event a California Women's Racing Series event.
