Once again the tents and booths go up and there won't be a hint of colorfully packaged mystery junk food in sight. In a continuing effort to not only support local farmers and vendors but to promote healthy eating, the Farmers Market begins its run Wednesday June 2. On sale will be fresh fruits and vegetables (many certified organic), flowers, organic eggs, and much more. The market meets every Wednesday through October 27th at the Natividad Medical Center. Opening day highlight will be the Hawaiian dance stylings of Ke Akua Kiakahi Hula Ohana. [LC]
