This week of the delightful outdoor short film screening series touches down on Norway in the story of an elderly woman who, curiuosly, refuses to take a bath (those wacky Norwegians), a Netherlands entry about two improbable people meeting on a bus, a piece from Spain called "the attack of the robots from nebula-5," an American "wry narrative...about U.S.-Iran relations," a film from Mauritania that asks poor and sick people about their definition of dignity, and a number called Julie and her guy, from France. Some reflection with that popcorn?
Films start at dusk (between 8-8:45pm). Henry Miller Library, Highway 1, quarter mile south of Nepenthe, Big Sur. Free; donations appreciated. 667-2574. http://www.henrymiller.org.
