Travels With Charley Essay Contest at Steinbeck Center

In honor of John Steinbeck’s Travels with Charley, the National Steinbeck Center wants to hear dog travel stories. The essay is due no later than 5pm on July 31st, and must center around one’s travels with his or her dog. Essays cannot exceed 300 words and must contain the entrant’s first and last name, email address and phone number. The winner is announced August 7th at the Charley Dog Look-Alike contest. The winners recieve a $100 PETCO gift certificate and a membership to the musuem.
