For everyone who wants to know if their blueberry pie is better than Mrs. Wilcox's down the street, the time for submissions is coming. This year's theme and key art is "The Fair is in the Air." Entries for the fair's competitions including homemade jams and pies, bottled wines, home-grown flowers and vegetables, photos, videos, artwork and livestock are due online by Saturday July 31, while paper entry forms are due Tuesday July 20.
